Magazine Street Study
This project was a test fit on Magazine Street in Boston. The slideshow below tells the design story. The main drive was to maximize the parking count for the site. This led to the starting point becoming the attempt to maximize parking efficiency. Comparing 45 to 90 degree parking allowed us to understand the streetscapes, the unit count, and the parking count all at the same. After we discovered the most efficient genesis, the design became community centric, where a community space for the project and the community at large would define the rest of the project.
